On Saturday, August 21, I helped out at Tails of Hope. At first I was extremely nervous. But as it started to progress, I felt much more comfortable. At first I was just holding the dogs and playing with them, but when I met Ann Weisburg she had me do something else. She brought me to the other side of the store. There were a couple of dogs that had just come in. Two of them caught my eye. They were brothers who were extremely close. We took them out of the cages and they were so friendly and so dirty. Their names were Charlie and Ling. Ling has an infected eye and if it's not treated he could go blind in that eye. We took them for a walk and we realized they were city dogs since they pooped on the sidewalk. After that we gave them a bath. First Ling then Charlie. It was so much fun. We dried them off and then we met some more dogs. Unfortunatly after that it was time to go. Tails of Hope is an amazing organization and is ridiculously fun!
